With 3 days left
Wild Potato can finish one Spring harvest and nets 40 coins per plot at regular quality. In Summer, Autumn, and Winter, the verified farmland table contains no crop that matures inside three days. Saving the seed money is the conservative result.
With 5 days left
Spring still favors Wild Potato in this narrow window. Onion becomes the simple 30-coin answer in Summer, Autumn, and Winter because its four-day cycle finishes once. This is a cash-flow answer, not a full-season answer.
With 7 days left
The leader changes sharply: Carrot in Spring, Gobbler in Summer, Happy Mandrake in Autumn, and Moonfruit in Winter. Gobbler's 150-coin result does not subtract the two requested fish or critters, while Happy Mandrake needs spacing. If those constraints are costly, filter for mundane crops in the calculator.
With 10 days left
Drikker leads Spring and Summer at 220 net coins per plot. Pumpkin leads Autumn at 130; Void Radish leads Winter at 110. Each result assumes a harvest happens on the exact final day and care is never missed.
A conservative season boundary
This planner does not carry a crop into the next season, even when that crop appears in both season lists. The source states that out-of-season crops wither, but it does not fully document every cross-season edge case. Counting only the selected days avoids inventing a survival rule.
